Regular sauna sessions are the perfect anti-stress programme, and encourage detoxification and purification of the body. The interplay of hot and cold stimulates the body’s functions, especially the circulation. The body’s own powers of resistance are brought into play, heart activity is stimulated, and there is a positive effect on blood pressure.
In the classic Finnish infusion, a bucket of cold, scented, water is poured over the sauna’s hot stones in three stages. This generates high humidity in the sauna, which is experienced by sauna guests as added heat on their skin.
Ice cube infusion
A bucket of cold, scented water is poured over the sauna oven in three stages. Between the second and third stages, guests are given ice cubes to rub over their skin, thus intensifying the “hot/cold” effect.
Only for seasoned sauna-goers! … a bucket of scented water is distributed in four stages. After the second stage, guests can cool down with a lap of the open-air pool or a cold shower. The third infusion is designed with gentle relaxation in mind, while the fourth infusion will demand everything from our guests!
Also known as the “XXXL infusion” by insiders! A bucket of cold water and a bucket of ice cubes are poured over the hot sauna oven in four stages. The result is very high humidity, which makes the room feel extremely hot.
Tip: the third shelf is usually left unoccupied by the last stage!
There is absolute peace in the sauna during this infusion. Two buckets of water with two different aromas are dispensed in three stages. A gentle infusion to relax and unwind.
Take a break from your sauna sessions to enjoy a cool drink or a fortifying snack in our panoramic bar. Enjoy the wonderful views of the surrounding landscape, including the starry skies at night.
